Hi, I’m Shay. 

My love for travel started with a study abroad program to Seville, Spain in 2019. Since then I’ve been to over 40 countries, 5 continents, and seen 3 Wonders of the World. I’ve been on more than a dozen group trips the past few years, so now I’m ready to start hosting my own!

These trips are a culmination of the years I’ve spent traveling the world and immersing myself in new cultures. My trips will combine all the best elements from all the group trips that I’ve joined over the years.

And I want to bring you along with me!

Group travel changed my life.

I started joining group trips because I was tired of waiting. Waiting for friends to commit. Waiting to meet the love of my life. Waiting for life to magically fall into place so I could finally travel the way I wanted to. And as much as I love solo travel, something was missing. Not to mention there are a few places even I’m a little scared to visit by myself.

These group trips took me to places I’d only dreamed about and introduced me to some of my favorite humans on the planet. I’ve made lifelong friends, crossed epic experiences off my bucket list, and had a blast doing it. I finally felt like I had found my people, people I never would have met if it weren’t for pushing myself out of my comfort zone and signing up to travel with a group of strangers.

Group trips connected me with inspiring, like-minded women, and gave me the kind of memories you can’t make scrolling through Instagram on your couch. I didn’t just visit new places — I felt seen, supported, and reminded that adventure doesn’t have to wait.

What I got on those trips was way more than just new stamps in my passport. I met some of the most incredible people — who just got me — and had unforgettable experiences I never would’ve pulled off solo (like traveling to Cuba).

Our groups are small (8-12), so we can really bond, connect, and offer a more intimate and personalized experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

You must be at least 21 years old to join a trip. We don’t have a maximum age because we believe that age is just a number and we love anyone who is young at heart! As long as you’re enthusiastic and have a love for traveling, you’re welcome on a Travel Chick Trip anytime! That being said, the majority of my audience are 25-44, so I do expect that to be the majority.

After you book, we will send you a short roommate questionnaire to assess compatibility. After the trip is completely filled up, we’ll start matching up roommates and you can connect beforehand in the group WhatsApp. If you’re traveling with someone, you can request to room together.

Absolutely! In addition to many (really awesome) activities already included in the overall price, TCT trips always have dedicated free time when you may explore at your leisure.

Of course! The beauty of group trips is that we plan everything for you. All you have to do is show up and have fun! You also don’t have to worry about feeling unsafe since you can stay with the group the entire time. These trips are meant to be no-stress and all fun, so it will be a perfect introduction to traveling.

Yes and no. We are called Travel CHICK Trips for a reason, BUT, we do have exceptions. In order to ensure the safety and comfort of our female guests, we aren’t accepting solo male guests at this time. Our trips are double occupancy, and this would cause roommate complications if an odd number of solo males sign up. However, men are allowed to attend if they’re coming with a woman and sharing the same room for the duration of the trip. So you can absolutely bring your boyfriend, husband, brother, cousin, bff, etc. If you can vouch for him, then he’s ok in our books!
