What Lifts You Wings
Los Angeles might be the city of angels, but it’s not the only place with wings. Thanks to artist Kelsey Montague, you can sport this gorgeous pair of wings for a swoon-worthy photo. Although I have a separate blog post dedicated entirely to all the awesome murals in Nashville, the What Lifts You Wings are the most famous and most photographed, so I just had to include it in this list of the top Nashville photo spots.
These wings are super popular, so sometimes there are people lined up down the street to get that Insta pic. Try to come early to avoid those lines and bad lighting.
- Location: 302 11th Ave S (near Biscuit Love, behind Taziki’s)

Kittenish
Just a few doors down from those glorious wings is not only the cutest store in Nashville, but hands down the cutest store I’ve ever been in! Kittenish is Jesse James Decker’s (famous country singer/songwriter) pride and joy. It has so much pink, and it just screams feminine. It’s playful, flirty, and fabulous. Even the mirrors in the dressing room hype you up because they say things like “that booty though.”
With good music and friendly staff, I could’ve stayed all day and just hung out. Thankfully the store isn’t very big, so I left without completely breaking the bank.

Biscuit Love
If you haven’t figured it out by now, the Gulch is very photogenic. After snapping a pic at the wings and shopping ’til you drop at Kittenish, head to the original Biscuit Love for brunch to try the “best sandwich in America.” I tried it, and I couldn’t agree more! So do yourself a favor and order the East Nasty – a big hunk of fried chicken, cheddar cheese, and sausage gravy on the best biscuit you’ve ever had. Get a fried egg on top to take it to the next level, and don’t forget to start with an order of bonuts (biscuit donuts). They’re sugary and oh so sweet!
This posh little joint isn’t just for biscuits. It’s great for pictures, too! You can’t go wrong with a giant lit up Nashville sign!
- Location: 316 11th Ave S

Parthenon
Wait, are we in Greece? I thought we were in Nashville? As a matter of fact, Nashville is much more than just the country music capital of America. It’s also nicknamed the Athens of the South because there’s a full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens, Greece.
You’ll have to pay if you want to go inside. If you’re visiting Nashville on a budget, just take some photos outside like I did. Centennial park is beautiful, and there’s free parking – bonus!
- Location: 2500 West End Ave (inside Centennial Park)

Pink Wall at Emma’s Flowers and Gifts
And why wouldn’t Nashville have a pretty pink flower shop just minutes away from the Parthenon? I told you this city was photogenic! Emma’s Flowers & Gifts has got you covered, whether you’re in the market for pretty flowers or just some pretty pics.
I know it’s just a pink back door, but it’s such a fun backdrop, especially if you love pink as much as I do!
- Location: 2410 West End Ave

Country Music Hall of Fame
You can never have too much country music! Well, at least in Nashville you can’t. Besides, did you even go to Nashville if you don’t visit the Country Music Hall of Fame? At least take a pic outside. Why else put a cute little bench here if not to take photos??
Grab your tickets here so you can soak up years and years of country music magic.
- Location: 222 5th Ave S

Grand Ole Opry Guitars
The Grand Ole Opry is one of the most famous stages in the world, and it’s an icon for country music. They offer backstage tours so you can see what goes on with the stars behind the scenes, and you can even get tickets to watch a performance at the Grand Ole Opry – a once in a lifetime experience.
Or you can just live out your own rockstar dreams with these giant guitars. The red one took me back to rock n’ roll rollercoaster, my favorite ride at Disney World. The guitars are almost identical!
Fun fact: The Grand Ole Opry is the longest-running radio broadcast in US history.
- Location: 2804 Opryland Dr

John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge
In my opinion, this is the best place to watch the sunset in Nashville, Ok, Taylor Swift’s penthouse suite might be the best, but if you can’t swing an invite up there, then this is the next best thing. Head to the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge during golden hour for some legendary sunset photography of the Nashville skyline.

Liberty Common
Aside from bar hopping and listening to country music, one of the best things to do in Nashville is eat brunch. There’s SO many good options, but why not opt for a photo-worthy brunch spot and kill two birds with one stone? Liberty Common is a chic café downtown where Southern comfort food meets French cuisine. Every inch of this place is Instagrammable – both inside and out. But cafés this cute attract crowds, so make a reservation in advance for one of the earlier times for people-free pics.
I came at night, so only got some pictures of the outside. Tip: their peach crisp makes an awesome late night snack!
Right next door to Liberty Common is the Hampton Social. Peek inside for a look at their bright pink Rose All Day sign.
Another popular option for brunch is Café Roze in East Nashville. You’ll love the aesthetics of this place because it seems like the menu items match the decor. If you’re a coffee connoisseur, don’t leave without trying the “Rose” latte with cardamom and rose.
- Location: 207 1st Ave S

Amelia’s Flower Truck
Ok in my opinion I saved the best for last because I am absolutely OBSESSED with this adorable flower truck. They’re sold by the stem so you can pick your own bouquet, or they’ll make one for you. (Hint: these make for a GREAT photo prop!). They also sell cute stickers.
Check their website and Instagram for current locations so you don’t miss the truck. A lot of times they’re parked in 12 South, either in front of imogene + willie’s or White Mercantile. Don’t worry if they’re a little late, though, because the truck is pretty old.
