St. Lucia

20 Photos to Inspire You to Visit St. Lucia

I was fortunate enough to spend my holiday season at the beautiful Sandals Grand St. Lucian. I was there for a little over a week right around Christmastime. I was a little sad to be spending the holiday season away from home, but after the incredible week I had, a Caribbean Christmas is all I ever want!

Did you know St. Lucia is nicknamed the
Bora Bora of the Caribbean?

That’s because of it’s giant, luscious green mountains, the Pitons. Add on the crystal clear water and soft white sand, and you’ll feel like you’re in Bora Bora (at a fraction of the price).

Plus, Sandals Grande St. Lucian has a few over-the-water bungalows. It doesn’t get much more Bora Bora than that!

If you haven’t been convinced already, here are
20 photos to inspire you to visit St. Lucia.

Just look at those mountains!
If you want a closer look, take a boat tour! The Pitons have AMAZING snorkeling just underneath them.

An ancient sulfur mud bath promised to make us look 10 years younger. I think it worked because afterwards I was glowing for a week! Pain is beauty, though, because it was scalding hot and wreaked of rotten eggs!
St. Lucia is where I went scuba diving for the first time and got certified!

You’d jump for joy too if you’d seen this amazing rainbow!

Now I’ve never met a Caribbean island I didn’t like, but I think St. Lucia takes the cake. The stark contrast of those gorgeous green Pitons against the sparkling blue water is just something else. You won’t find better scenery in the Caribbean!
