Spain sits on the Iberian Peninsula, and it is made up of 17 autonomous regions, each with their own diverse geography, climate, culture, and personality.

Seville is the capital and the largest city of Andalusia, the southernmost province. It is perhaps most famous for being the birthplace of flamenco, just one of the many things that makes this city so full of life and fervor.

So why should you visit Seville?

Rich with history and culture, this sunny slice of southern Spain is the perfect getaway for anyone and everyone. The weather is beautiful, the locals are friendly, and the atmosphere breathes Spanish flavor. When planning your next trip, you definitely don’t want to miss Seville, the heart of Andalusia.

I lived in Seville for 4 months, and it still wasn’t enough time because I had fallen in love with the culture, lifestyle, and of course the constant sunshine! Now I find myself homesick for my second home, mi casa en Sevilla.

I hope these photos have inspired you to visit Seville. Just making this post has made me so nostalgic, and now I want to plan my trip back asap!
